Q&A with our Social Media & Success Manager
We took some time to sit down with our Social Media & Customer Success Manager, Meghan Foreman!
Q: Tell us a little about yourself
MF: I recently graduated from UNB with honours in Marketing and HR. I’m a sports fanatic, whether it’s playing, watching or coaching. I’ve developed a love for travel; it’s definitely my new obsession!
Q: How did you end up at Porpoise?
MF: I met the “Ongozah guys” while working as a Marketing Summer Intern at the United Way. We worked closely on the Day of Caring project; working with the guys was an awesome experience! I was lucky to come on board just a few days after finishing my last exam at university.
Q: Tell us a little bit about your upcoming travels to Europe.
MF: I’m super lucky to be working for an awesome company that allowed me to take an extensive amount of time off work, to fulfill my dream of backpacking Europe. We started in London and made our way around Europe (France, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Monaco, Czech Republic) and ended in Ireland. It was definitely the best 7 weeks of my life.
Q: What is your favourite part about working at Porpoise?
MF: The culture in our office. I have always wanted to work for a company with a strong culture where I feel I am making a difference. In 6 months with Porpoise I have grown and learned a ton, which is exciting for me!
Q: Where is your favourite place to be?
MF: Definitely my cottage on Grand Lake and Sugarloaf in the U.S. I’ve spent my summers at the lake with family and friends my whole life. This was my family’s 28th year going to Sugarloaf for a family/friend ski trip.
